Councilwoman Mary C. Woolridge (D) 3 will travel to Johnson Middle School to get a first hand look at how school children learn about the arts with the help of Actor’s Theater of Louisville.
“Education is important to our children’s future,” says Woolridge. “Education about the arts is also important when understanding our culture and history.”
Woolridge provided Neighborhood Development funding for a series of arts education workshops coordinated by Actor’s on Monday, May 12th. There will be three different sessions for students. The Councilwoman will observe the class of Ms. Marcie Blakeney at 10:00am.
